My little kids want to be King Acheshveirosh and Queen Esther.
What's the easiest way to make such a costume?
(I also have a 1 yr old baby, what can I put him in to match?

We're also doing that and I have a 7 month old. I'm sewing costumes, I'm not sure what you own that you can use but if you can make a long tunic for your son and just embellish with gold trim and gold belt and buy or make a crown, he can wear plain black pants underneath. Make a cape from something existing. For a queen, you need a fancy dress and a cape as well. Simpler crown.

DS was a king. Very easy- we had a pair of blue velour pants from the gap holdiay collection (you can use the pajama type.) Took a peice of blue velour fabric, sewed a "hem" over a gold string to tie around his neck, and embellished it with gold rickrack and fake jewels. THen we bought a crown for 3 dollars. Cheapest costume ever!
You can make the baby Haman or just a clown (court jester).
