I can't use the name Moshe, but want to name after someone who was very dear to us with this name.
Does anyone have an idea what we can go for instead?
The person we wanted to name after was very special, calm, smart, accepting every person the way they are,......
Thanks for any ideas!

Moshe had 7 names - I can't remember them all, but one was Avigdor, which I think is very nice.

Do you like Tuvya? That is another one of Moshe Rabeinu's names.
Does this person have a second name? Or maybe just name him something that reminds you of him.

Moshe had six (other) names: Yered, Heber, Yekusiel, Avigdor, Avo Sokho, Avi Zanoach. R. Yehuda ben Ilai said; Toviah was also his name. R. Yshmael ben Ami said: Son of Nesanel was also his name. R. Yehudash ben Korcha said: He was also called Levi, becasue of his family (Leviticus Rabbah 1,3; names are from Chronicles 4,18 and 24,6) [5].

Do the letters that spell Moshe rearrange to spell another name? R' Pesach Krohn gave a shuir on names and mentioned doing that.
