I do the same thing.
I try and stay away from fried foods or heavy carbs, but I've found that you can still drop weight and eat normal foods, just make sure you're eating the correct portion size.

Well, for me it's just coffee and yogurt for brekafast, and a salad for lunch.
It's easier for me to maintain my weight that way.

I refer you ladies to a great cookbook, "Fix it and forget it Lightly." All crock pot recipes, all low fat, all the ones I've tried are tasty. Also my all time favorite crock pot cookbook is, "Fresh from the Vegetarian Slow Cooker." All the recipes there are pretty low calorie too, by virtue of being animal fat-free and generally free of any other added fat (occasionally the recipes involve browning onions or other recipes in a minimum of oil before putting in the pot). They're delicious--even my tofu-phobe ate the miso braised tofu undisguised and my husband said his only complaint was there wasn't enough made!

turkey breast salad. I sometimes make a big salad with alot of veggies and add some smoked turkey breast. I make my dressing with low fat mayonnaise and its really good.
