How do you make purple cabbage and spaghetti salad? Sounds good.

Greentiger - your menu sounds lovely and no, I don't think you need couscous.

Coleslaw? I was thinking of making that we'll see how I'm doing with time though.
Esa, I'm doing as much as I can in advance and some of the foods the guests are bringing so we should be good. Smile

It's posted a few times on the site. I do'nt have time to type it out.
Search for Angel hair salad. I just use spaghetti or luckshen because I can't find angel hair here.
I noticed a lot of the recipes use 1 box pasta for 1 bag/head of cabbage. My recipe calls for 3 bags cabbage to a box of pasta (or 1 bag cabbage to 1/3 box of pasta). This way, when you let it sit in the fridge, the whole salad including the pasta turns purple. I like it better this way.

I can't find a recipe that someone actually tried - I saw one thread on it, but the recipes were given by people that took it from a book and didn't try it and it doesn't sound like yours. Can you post your, pretty please??? I want to make it for the seudah - it sounds yum!

No one else is doing breakfast food?

I'm having a bunch of people, upwards of 20 I think, but many of the guests are chipping in. We are having:

French toast
Waffles with toppings (fruit, Tofutti)
Quiche
Potatoes- hashbrowns or something similar
Mini hot dogs (closest I could get to breakfast sausages!)
Apple kugel
Green salads
Hamentashen and blondies
...and mimosas of course! Drunken Smile
