We live in a small but nice apartment. When my parents come they know what they are coming to. We don't offer the master bedroom and they would never expect it. In fact, they would probably refuse it. It's a really nice thing to do though!

Agree with many posters that it's a nice thing to offer but not expected. Parents may turn it down, but would likely be touched by the gesture!
