I tried to put my baby back on the first side after burping, but she still seemed hungry, so I fed her from the second side as well. I also tried to feed her in a different position and she spit up just as much.
BTW I checked the dosage on the Zantac and it's .5 ML not 5. DUH. I was worried why my baby was getting so much more than everyone else's!
Still want to head back to the dr. to see what he says, just haven't made it there yet.

Usually you can tell from your baby's cues if it is enough or not after you put on the first side again.
I don't suggest leaving a baby hungry and crying if you only nurse on one side just to avoid using the second side! But what the LC suggested sounds like a good plan.
I hope it all works out!
