I styled my wig, and had curls made, however I do not think it suits me..will it damage the wig if I have it rewashed and blowdried straight? With the cost of wigs these days I am sceptical about doing anything.

The more washings, the worse it is - but not deadly.

I normally only wash my sheitls 2 x a year....worried about all the oxodizing I hear so much about etc etc.

Your sheitel will oxidize (albeit slowly) no matter what, just by virtue of it being exposed to oxygen. Things like exposure to the sun and heat will make it oxidize much more quickly. I don't think that one extra washing will make much of a difference especially since you wash it so infrequently anyway. Just ask whoever washes it to be very gentle with the heat.
