I'm seeing all over facebook advertised stroller liners. I have a bugaboo that I'm about to convert into the seat from the bassinet. Do I need a liner? If yes, for what?

It's to protect the fabric.
When the liner gets dirty just throw it in the wash.
Don't know how easy it is to wash the fabric in the carriage.
see chaylizi's thread to link to etsy.com

S/o makes custom liners for really cheap.

I've spoken to a few people that have my carriage that wash the material. If that's the case, do I need it? Or should I buy one anyway to protect it even from washing so I can save this mucho $$ carriage for my next kid iy"H?

I would buy one, for 45 bucks I think it's worth it to protect your carriage.
(I shouldn't talk...I don't have one yet and I don't know if the fabric of my UppaBaby can be washed..._
