Hi

My DH will be home in 2 hrs and asked if I can please make him dinner.. I only have 1 tray defrosted pepper steak any quick recipes?? and whts for a side??? ive never made pepper steak before...

Pepper Steak

3 lb. pepper steak meat
2 large onions, coarsely chopped
2 green peppers, in chunks
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 tablespoon beef bouillon powder
3 tablespoons corn starch
½ cup Concord wine
3 tablespoons soy sauce

Brown the meat in a heavy pot. Add onions, peppers and celery and cook until they soften. Add bouillon powder. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Mix the corn starch, wine and soy sauce until smooth. Add to mixture, stirring steadily until it boils. Cook covered at a simmer for another 30 minutes.

Serve over rice.
