From the tone of a number of posts, I am getting the feeling that some people are here primarily to influence/convert other people to their point of view.
While we all agree that we all have areas where we can improve, the feeling that I am a walking (or in this case sitting) target is a bit off-setting.
What do you think?

I first got interested in it through my daughter who is related by marriage to some other involved people. She told me that I would be interested in the BT topics. A few days after I signed up, I was in that accident and had a couple of surgeries. I thought that these ladies, who I did not know, were good company. I could neither walk nor drive and was totally stuck in the house. Now BH, I have improved a lot but still enjoy it and am probably addicted to it.

I get so much out of this site.
It's so nice to be able to connect to other people in the same life situation. Especially since I have practically no social life at this point Sad

I've gotten so much helpful advice and so many ideas. As a first time mother, it's such a benefit to be able to log in and get answers to my questions from people so much more experienced.

I'm definitely not here to convert anyone. My powers of persuasion aren't that great.

I just ignore the people on the site who I feel are too preachy or who get on my nerves for other reasons. I don't feel it ruins my experience here.
