What is this used for? Can I just pour it over a peice of meat and bake or cook? Wont it dry out? I've always only made meat with a sauce and then, if cooked for a LONG time, it comes out soft. But then what is this spice used for?

Just as it says in the name... You can sprinkle on steak before you cook/broil it, but to be honest if it's good meat, I prefer just plain salt & pepper. BUT it does wonders if you rub into lamb chop or for roast chicken.

It's more of a rub for meat than a spice for sprinkling.
Rub it into chicken before baking.
Marinate steak in seasoning and olive oil, then grill.
