My fridge light can not be removed and therefore every shabbos we tape the light switch on the inside of the fridge shut so the light doesn't turn on when we open it. Now there is a big build up of tape residue from removing the tape each week. Any suggestions on the best way to clean it?

Goo Gone is really great for that stuff you can find it with cleaning supplies at any store.

a little tip... we use tape every week as well and duct tape does not leave residue... the one time we used something else we were left with the sticky stuff...

Instead of turning it off that way, why don't you just lightly unscrew it every Friday?
