Asperges soup

I was at a sheva brochos and they served delicious asperges soup.
I tries to google a recipe for asperges soup, but all of them has milk and heavy creme
anyone knows a good recipe, that I can use with fleishigs?

I thought it was Asperger's Soup! LOL

Panda, get a recipe & substitute coffee creamer or soy/rice milk. That should work.

Asperger. But they call asparagus asperge. Asperges when plural. Soupe d'asperges would be asparagus soup.

no, actually I'm from belgium where we use a lot of french words (it's second language)

I make asparagus houp all the time, its my yom tov soup.
I dont have an exact recepie, but it comes out good enough to serve for yom tov meal;
I saute onion with some cubed fresh garlic with oil, add the asparagus and continue sauting add 2 tb. chicken consume mix from osem
or other brand. after few minutes add water, salt, black pepper, also add 1/2 container coffee whitner.
let it cook for about an hour, after an hour immerse a hand blender, blend in pot, and yuppoo you have got a great delicous soup... enjoy,,,,,

Niiiiice! French or Flemish part? My mom is from Brussels and I have cousins I LOVE in Antwerp.
