Hi. I would like to buy my daughter a gown for an out of town wedding Does anyone know of a place in Brooklyn. I'm looking for one that has sleeves (that is why I cant find online). I also would like to know how much I can expect to spend. She'll be wearing this for 2 weddings within the same month, so I feel it's worth it to buy than to rent twice!

My flower girls got theirs at Lester's on Kings Highway. They had short sleeves, not sure if that is ok with you. They were probably $60 each but this was in 2007

You could try young timers or simones on kingston avenue in crown heights. Both carry gowns for girls.
I bought from a wholesaler with a showroom in midtown. I think they were called ABC childrenswear. They were on 35th or 36th between 7th and 8th.

Do you have a phone number or exact address? And do they let you bring in kids to try on sizes?

These are the folks I bought gowns from for my girls.
A Beautiful Child
225 West 35th Street, New York, NY 10001-1904 (212) 279-8828
abcbtq.com
I know they moved from one store front to another one like 2 doors away, if they are not at this exact address, they are most certainly on that block.
SImone's 379 Kingston Ave 718-604-9717
Young Timers 389 Kingston Ave 718-467-3535
Simone's and Young Timers both carry the "Sweetie Pie" line of gowns (very high end), A Beautiful child is less high-end, but still very nice and more in my budget.
Hatzlacha!

We bought these gowns in a dusty rose color, and were very happy with them.

ALSO, they will work with you. If you want one of the gowns that has the different colored flower petals inside, like this:

They'll work with you to put in what color you need - ie a white dress with blue flowers, etc. They also make headbands and wreaths to match.
I was very happy with them. They have a number of styles with long sleeves or with jackets.

Sweetie Pie gowns are available at Sweet Things on Coney Island Avenue between Avenues K & L in Brooklyn. If they don't have what you like in stock, they can order to your preference. I just bought one for my daughter for some weddings we have over the summer.

Recently, I've seen the girls wearing jumper style gowns with shells. Considering that option might broaden your selection.
