Thank you. The color is actually a funny story. When DS got engaged (erev Pesach) we went to NY right after Pesach for the vorte. While there I rented a gown in the color of choice of the kallah's (silver). I mentioned this a DIL and she told me that when she was in NY for Pesach she rented a gown from the same place. Well, we compared notes and found that we'd rented the same gown!

Time went on and no one was doing silver and the kallah decided she didn't care. We were in the NY are for Shavuos and I went to change the gown choice so that DIL and I weren't wearing the same thing (I didn't really care, but she did). Wound up with this gown which was so much nicer (both color and style) than the original one I'd chosen.

By the way, in the big family pictures, while all of my children and children-in-law are present, at least 10 of my grandchildren are not. DD from EY came with only her husband and there were some sleepers/refusers to pose.

The saphire blue you choose looks perfect! with your pale skin silver might have made you look tired so it was wonderfull the kallah was flexible Very Happy

The gown was actually a bright navy (maybe that would be sapphire).

I always believe in doing what the Kallah wants (didn't care for the brown or lavender from the past 2 chasunahs either) so I would've done silver, but I didn't really care for it at all.
