I took a sneek peek at Bells and Pomegranates on Amazon.
Hidden:

Yoel, Naomi's husband, is Devora Berman's son (Devora was Beth's friend in BT sem who married Nosson. She later moved OOT in Crossing the Divide.) He's friends with Yossi, Beth's son. It doesn't seem to mention anything about Ariel, but I didn't read the book yet.

Um, I believe that Yoel is Beth's friend Shoshana Berman's son (not mentioned in ATTR/ATTS)--Devora married Nosson Rothman, not Berman.

Whoops!
Who's Shoshana (I gotta reread A Time to Rend A Time to Sew)

Totally new character, I'm assuming.

The Bermans seem to be a totally new family, (I've only read the sample on Amazon)
Hidden:

Devorah must be the friend that Gila suggested for Ronny.

But IIRC Aviva's father's name is Berman. I still think there's no relation though.

Tova, are you sure it won't be out until Chanukah? It seems to be available to order on Targum's website now.

It's a bit annoying to know at the beginning exactly who Yoel actually marries!

I agree! Also I'd hoped to hear more about Beth and Leah...

Yes, I'm sure. I put in the order through Targum and then got an e-mail from Menucha Publishers that it won't be available until Chanukah.

I'll have to look. Is this something recent or has it been available for a while?

I just bought a new paperback printing from Feldheim's sale, and I see it on Eichler's website too, so I assume stores will have it.

I've seen it too but own the regular hardcopy from years ago. I also have Wildflower from way back. I haven't seen Cactus Blossoms though; anyone know if it is currently available for purchase?

For a nice price, there are a couple copies on jewishusedbooks.

Just read Crossing the Divide, and it was refreshing to read a well-written, non translated novel...

I bought Bells and Pomegranates in e-book form. I started reading it.
Yoel is a ger and adopted. Ronny dates his sister Devora (also adopted) in Till Then.
It's interesting so far.

I don't remember if he dated her, but her name definitely came up. She was Gila's friend from Gateshead.

Is the new book in the stores yet? I have Till Then as an e-book and it's driving me nuts. I really prefer real books.
