I need ideas for lunches-for husband (besides for ziti, tuna, egg sandwiches). It has to be healthy and not "potchky." Please give me ideas. I am at a loss already! It also has to include a carb and a protein...

There are lots of easy salads out there. You can make one big one to last a few days.
Yogurt
Cottage cheese sandwich
Cream cheese sandwich with veg. in it
cold cut sandwich
peanut butter/tomato/american cheese sandwich
sardines

I make a big tin of roasted veggies (eggplant, zucchini, onion pepper with garlic lemon juice and drop of oil) for the entire week and then in the morning throw it with some low fat chummus in a wrap

Buy a thermos - that way you can give him leftovers (or fresh) food that stays hot until lunch - soups, meatballs/rice, lasagna, etc
