Im at a point in my pregnancy that I have never been before. I have never been at this point befoer because my other pregnancies were either premature birth, or early mis's.

I want to name this baby something really special because early on in pregnancy I thought there would be a mis (C'v's) and I have never been this far along (im nearing 36 weeks), I have never made it past 32.

Any name ideas that you can think of? we don't know if it's a boy or girl.

I love the name simcha for a boy, but DH likes it more as a second name.
we like the name Meira for a girl, but we usually go for names that are not so "modern" (not MO modern, but names that are getting more popular today, modern).
And we like names that are non-frum relatives can say and the secular world wont think we are totally crazy. We don't give English so this name will be used in the secular world as well.

I had a very difficult pregnancy with one of my daughters. I added the second name Tova to the family name we had chosen for her. It was something I felt was very important.

My beautiful baby was born after a traumatizing mis, so we ended up using nosson (and strongly considered nesanal). It's from tanach (nosson hanavi) and the concept that Hashem gave him to us.

I'm sure there are other beautiful names, but I feel connected to this one Smile

These are such beautiful names...I love that they both "make sense" translated.

I second the Bracha/Boruch. Also Menucha, Shalva, Rina, Shalom for a boy, Chaim, and the Yehuda/Yehudis business.

Love these ideas!

I think we have picked one that we like for a girl. The boys name we are not sure about yet.
we can not use shmuel, chaim, yehuda or meir...

any other boys names? pref. that go with and sound good with simcha as a second name.

thanks!!

If its a boy- How about Gavriel Simcha, it's a strong name, both the sound and meaning for you strong little guy that made it further than all his other siblings!

I love the name netanel and matanel too,

for a boy the name Yedidya (friend of Hashem) is a stong name. If your child stayed for so long iside of you, with all of your history, that means that Hashem watched him closely...
Also the names: Netanel or Nessonel, Yonatan, Elchonon and so on.
Yehuda - also means thanks to Hashem, beautiful strong name!
For a girl, I like Ayala but I don't think that really relates to what you wrote. How about Temima, Avigail, Tamar, Adina?

Beshaa Tova! Exclamation
