Anyone have one? Something easy, not a kugel, quiche. I'm thinking "sprinkle on spices, mix with oil, bake" or something like that.

I've never used frozen broc like this before, though, and don't know how it would come out.

Hi Lollygirl. I'm assuming you don't cook it first, right? You just defrost and then stir fry?

I do cook it. I follow the recipe - usually the package of frozen broccoli will tell you how long to cook it for (it might be a bit longer than with fresh)

I steam mine in the oven. Place in a pan. Cover tightly. Bake 40 minutes until steamed through.
Season with coarse salt and eat right away. Yum!

I make it the way I make creamed spinach. I cook the broccoli in salted water for till tender but not too soft. In other pot I make a roux with oil, flour, and garlic. I drain the broccoli and combine it with the roux. It's yum.

Combine defrosted and drained broccoli with defrosted and drained chopped spinach in equal proportions. Add in 1/2 cup mayonnaise and a teaspoon onion soup mix and bake at 350 until lightly browned around the edges. Yum!
