Anybody know how to get a new homepage, while still keeping yahoo as my server?
The yahoo homepage is so disgusting, yet sometimes I am curious.... Nothing terrible or really not nice, but I want to keep it that way....
You used to be able to make Yeshiva world news your homepage, but I can't find that option any more.
Oh. I still need my local weather.
And I'm not very computer literate, so if you are kind enough to respond, don't get too technical, or at least explain it well.

In Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" up on the toolbar, then click "Internet Options." There should be a section that says "home page." In that section, type the full address of the page you want as your new home page.

Have a look at myway.com -- it is a very clean, very customizable home page. I've been using it and recommend it for years. Go to the page and then follow chanahlady's instructions above to set it as home page (if you don't use IE, it is still the same general idea).

Unless you plan on checking a site every single dingle time you open your browser I'd recommend a fairly empty page as a home page like google which doesn't have much on it.
Reason being is everytime you load a page you are using up brandwidth and slowing your internet down.
Even with high speed it can slow down sometimes.
