I used to work for BC of Rockland County. They have a list of all BC's and hospitals they service. Their number is 845-425-7877. the operator will gladly assist you.(that used to be me for a while).

On the sixth floor of Babies Hospital (6 Central) There is a beautiful Chesed Room with a library, Coffee, cake, Food, microwaves etc.. Couches... It's fully stocked and maintained by Chesed of New Square and Chai Lifeline.
Food can be ordered through Satmar Bikur Cholim ( They deliver hot lunch) 718-387-7749
Chai Lifeline delivers supper (212-465-1300 ) as well as Chesed of New Square (845-354-2627).
Chai Lifeline provides volunteers as well as bikur cholim of Washington Heights (Mrs. Doris Rothschild- 212-927-0110).
Good luck.

All of this information is perfect, but it is located in 6 Tower, not 6 Central...(also there is a similar room in Milstein)

there is also definetly a bikkur cholim apt inthe neighborhood, and the pople of washington heights are wonderful and would definetly put people up if the bikkur cholim apt is full, just the frum community is about 10 blocks away from the hospital...

Colombia has 2 hospitals. The main one on 168th St, which has Bikur Cholim. I gave birth on 225th st and there is no Bikur Cholim and no Jews (frum or not ).
