So my daughter was dx with crohns which is shocking because she never had digestive issues before as an older child. After infusion they refused to let her leave because her bp was low and inflammation in her blood still high. My issue is as follows:
1 they were giving her protonix to prevent ulcers since she is on steroids. Protonix making her have more watery diarrhea and stomach aches. ( so give meds to prevent bleeding according to drs). By the way research shows that protonix can worsen IBD for some.
2. Rn just came in with levonox stating she is not bleeding anymore ( which they did not verify with stool testing) and her platelets high so she needs levonox ( which can cause bleeding)
I cannot with these drs. Please help me. Pray for me and my daughter. I am falling apart.
