There is a whole controversy with them because they are Jehova's witnesses and do not believe in blood transfusions, which babyies who are born weighing 1 pound usually need.

WOW - 6
so tefila u have twins too - how old? I always wanted twins and my sister and I pretended we were twins. When I was preg w/1st I was told maybe twins & was disappointed - just had alot of amniotic fluid. But my 1 & 3 act like twins - so I joke around that my twins are 3 years apart.

ok...silly question here...probably why I am posting anonymously .... I was always taught that you cannot say the J part of witnesses because it is G-ds name and we should be careful even though nobody knows how that name (ie yud key.....) is pronounced..... Anybody???? Have I been led astray all these years?? In my house we called them the Joe Willies just to avoid saying it......

It's said with a "j" not a "y". It's two different words in my opinion. But you may be right and we are not supposed to say it.

I thought this would probably happen.
They seized 3 of the babies from their parents because they were refusing to let them have blood transfusions. Already 2 of the babies died.

Wow. Poor babies. Although I do wonder who is essentially right in this case. In Jewish law, any medical procedure is allowed if it will save a life, so I can't compare. But I wonder how I'd feel if the govt. felt it can decide for me and violate my religious rights.
