I had two really bad experiences buying wigs here, and I must buy something decent, that is not greasy, or stringy and with a comfortable cap. ( I get migraines.) I have been wearing a snood mostly, which dh doesn't like.
I would like to go someplace where I can look at and try on various brands, but most ppl I speak to only sell one or two brands, not a variety.
Any ideas whom I can go to?
If not, can someone recommend an HONEST shaitel seller who really stands behind the wig; not only says she does but if there is a problem, it's too bad!

I bought mine at Chaya's Precuts. was very happy and was able to try a bunch of different ones till I found the one I wanted.

op here: ,my price range is prob about 1500-2000; but it has to be worthwhile.
My last was 1300 (on sale) and I have worn it only 5 times. it is so greasy and stringy and gross.... looks like I never wash it even after multiple washings. nor does it hold a style.... so I'm very nervous about getting burnt again.

I would try either Gitty Friedman or Henny Storch. They are both very good about standing behind what they sell you. I think Henny Storch is more flexible about her hours, if that makes a difference for you.
