Concentrate on doing business, and do not waste precious time and energy on something that does not advance your business. This doesn't.
The smooth way you handle her will reassure them all. "If she can even handle that one, well known to be difficult, she will certainly take good care of ME" they will think.
But add a percent price increase to cover it.

Sorry for a basic question, OP, but what was YOUR term with the chinese supplier?
I somehow doubt they would give 1yr guarantee. So obviously that would expose yourself to the customer return risk. As PP said, that's a part of doing business, and I 100% agree your business model needs to built that into the margin.
