Blogs on imamother

What is your take. Personally I don't come on to see blogs frankly I have no interest if that is the direction that it's taking that imamother should come to that.

Yeah, what blogs? I mean, I have my own (I actually have several) elsewhere, but I've never seen Imamother blogs.

Imamother is a bulletin board/discussion group, not a blog site...there are plenty of those out there...sorry, just my opinion.

I dunno... I have nothing against blogs, but I think that Imamother is not necessarily the right place for them... I can see problems with anonymous mean comments in blogs, pro&anti blog (or even pro&anti one poster) bashing happening, jealousy between popular and not that highly frequented blogs...

I don't think it is necessarily a good idea at all. we will see.

This is what I am referring to. I think Blogs for outside a site are fine.
I don't care for trivial posting as I do that a poster should have their own blog.
I just wanted to know who else feels the same?
Oh and no don't offer me a blog to!!. So it's not a jealousy issue but a blog one

What blog? Who will be doing it? Where will it be? Is it just an opportunity for any member to start her own blog? Considering the high level of anonymity here, I doubt anyone will start a blog for everyone to read. Unless all the blogs will be by amother... Very Happy

I know I won't take part, but I will read. I don't really care either way. And if you do, follow Shayna's advice and scroll on by.

I agree with you amother - I think personal blogs should be separate, not on imamother. I don't want blog threads appearing among the other threads.

If someone wants a blog, they should open a regular Blogger account. They should then send a message to the people they want reading it, or post the address in the thread about other websites.

I actually think the variety of posts are interesting hence we have titles such as intellectual, chit chat, etc. we can go into what we are in the mood of at dif times. I actually would prefer less being more around cause a long blog in one place can be difficult to keep up with and not as interested in reading if it were broken into categories.
