Way-back-when, before custom wigs became the 'norm', ladies bought shaitels from the 'box'. And most, if not all of them, had lots of 'baby hairs' sewn in. But now, when it's fashionable to pull long sleek(shaitel) hair away from the face (either behind-the-ears or over-half-the-ears) the shaitel looks odd, and non-convincing. Wiggy. On the subway I studied women/girls who had long hair that was tucked behind the ears.) All of them had short baby-hair that formed a kind of triangle, from their temple area, running parallel in front of the ears, until the end of their ear lobe. Why don 't the manufacturers of expensive custom wigs include those convincing baby hairs automatically? And throw in some baby hairs every place that is a 'hairline', the bangs area too! You pay one or two or three grand, and the companies are stingy with the hair ? What do you think?

You can always have your shaitel macher add in the baby hairs. I did that, since the bangs lay nicer with the baby hairs.
