Yum! I make something like this, but use frozen bananas instead. Comes out more like a mocha milkshake.

Here's a version that I make:

1 cup milk
1 tablespoon coffee
sugar or sweetener to taste (I use around 3 tablespoons Stevia)
1 tablespoon sugar free hot cocoa powder (Ko-sure is best)
9 ice cubes (the square kind from an ice cube tray)
1/4-1/2 cup hot water

Put coffee, sweetener & cocoa mix in blender; add 1/4 cup hot water. Add milk and ice.

Blend on low for around 30 seconds, raise gradually to high; add up to 1/4 cup additional hot water so that it blends smoothly and blend for another minute.

Makes a lot -- around 5 cups.

that recipe looks great, I want to try it. do you think it would work fine with a frozen banana?

also, I never thought of just washing off the canned peaches! do you think that really takes off all the sugar?

Washing peaches will definitely take off some of the sugar, but will absolutely not get rid of all of it!

You can use a frozen banana, I just prefer fresh.
I dont think all the sugar is gone, but it helps for sure to wash it off.
