I am a therapist for the past 18 years and have just recently been asked by schools and organizations to speak at their training programs for educators. In the past (about two years ago), on my pursuance, I had charged $450 with no issue. Now that I am being asked to speak, what is the appropriate fee? When I mentioned 450 - one of the schools was surprised so low. If anyone works in a school or educational organization, please advise. These presentations do take a lot of time and preparation, and are obviously in demand if they are approaching me. Just don't know what the going rate is...
