I just got a new sheitel, b"h, and I want it to last - any tips? so far it seems to tangle up pretty easily, so I could really use suggestions on the best way to brush it, etc.

Hold the shaitel right at the tip of the hair, and brush those first. Then move your hand higher and brush from your hand down, and keep on doing that until you reach the top. Never brush the shaitel from root to tip first, the hair will break.

No I mean make a fist around the hair, just above the tips of the hair.
