as a Jewish mom I laways feel my kids dont eat good enough.
They only want cereal with milk or a toasted waffle.
sometime a slice of plain bread.
I ffel thet they need more than this in order to do good in school.any ideas of what togive them?
I am talking about young kids:11,9 5

My daughter is a very picky eater and she has had the same breakfast since she was 1...cherrios and milk! Even when I offer her the sugar cereals, she declines...I suggest you just give them what they like! It's not worth the fight to try and gett hem to eat something "healthy" if it won't start the day out right mood wise!

My DS has cereal, milk and usually some fruit. Nothing wrong with that!

Sorry, that was a list of options. However,if you gave them all of that I have no doubt that they could eat it.

I have just a 1 year old, but I give him usually plain cheerios with almond milk, and usually fruit (I grate him a pear/apple)-he loves it! and mostly water in a sippy cup (with a drop of juice) and sometimes banana too. He's usually satisfied after all that!

My 13 yr. old had meat for breakfast this morn....My 6-yr-old at times has chicken for breakfast...it is filling and keeps them/myself satisfied longer. I find we are less hungry at the end of the day. Whereas when it's cereal and milk the hunger slowly creeps up on us until we are soooo hungry...then it's hard to satisfy that kind of hunger....
At other times it's eggs with fresh veggies. I think protein is important in a breakfast meal.
