Please vote and explain!

I remember when I was in high school one of my friends had a sister who was a few years older and said as you get older life gets better and better. do you agree? At the time I was so happy and content I couldnt imagine life being better and didnt understand. And they were one of the best periods of my life.

My life was getting worse and worse till tenth grade. Since then its been getting better and better, 100%. I thought last year was the best year of my life, because b'h it was such an amazing year. But now this year is mamash 1000 times better! (I guess when you try to grow, your life gets better as you try to grow and find more meaning in life...)

dating + engagement + 1st times of marriage until pregnancy nauseas kicked in.

Well in fact, in tie with childhood especially when not at school. School was boring LOL same for middle and hi school. Didn't go to sem, and university was interesting but sometimes boring too.

This is like a guy talking to another guy:

Guy 1: Have you lived all your life in Vermont?
Guy 2: Not yet!

Life now is very nice, B"H but after I finished college and when I was a career gal I boarded with a frum family for a year and that year was a VERY special time. (I put that in post high school, even though it was really post-college). I grew a lot, I felt so confident and happy, I learned so much. That family is still very dear to me now seven years later.

This reminds me- a few weeks ago, I was looking at our wedding photos with my mil, and I remarked to her, "My wedding day was NOT the best day in my life, like everyone says it should be". She was horrified. "Why not? was something wrong?" But my answer is, "because today is better! and hopefully tomorrow should be even better!"
I don't like when ppl say, "Oh, enjoy your engagement/wedding/shana rishona/new baby- it's the best time of your life!" Chas v'shalom. Each stage of life has its new joys and trials, we have to take each as it comes.
Not to put down this thread= definitely an interesting poll- but this is just my take on it.

its funny, as the time goes on, I can reflect and say that was the best years in my life. but at the moment I don't feel so.
my personal example was when I was engaged it was a really hard and stressing fun in my life, but looking back I realize how amazing it was to plan for a new life together with my new husband....
