well.... did some googling and came up with the following menu. husband liked, and invited brother in law too.... otherwise would have been too much food for us!

MENU

...........Delicately sweet pineapple
freshly plucked from the Sydney paradise
(pineapple chunks with juice mixed with brown sugar baked in individual serving dishes for like 20 minutes)

................Damper
traditional Australian bread
originally made by bush settlers
who baked it in an open fire.
(quite different to say the least! we had it with margarine spread on. turned out to be a flat bread/biscuit type)

..................Australian twang
ala chicken tagine with honey apricots
(served with couscous)

tomorrow night I think will be italian.... and thursday night israeli.
(that I believe should complete our world tour!!!!!)

you're funny supermom......

So far we've toured (one night per country): china, america, australia.... and I still have 'tickets' to Italy and Israel before promptly returning home this week in time for Shavuos!!!

I'll save the night I'm not in the mood of making supper to 'tour' some 3rd world country with starving ppl....'LOL''LOL''LOL'

actually, I felt as if I was falling into a 'slump' of making quick 'regular' suppers, and ontop of that I felt slightly guilty after my mother mentions to me one day on the phone... "make sure you are making nice suppers for your husband"

so I decided to go on a campaign!

chinese- sauteed (onions first, than added) small pieces of chix cooking it only for very short. (until turned white) removed chix, and added chinese veggies. when veggies done, returned the chix and added soy sauce. served over rice.

american- hamburgers on buns with fries. (very easy and tasty!) don't have a broiler, so actually made the burgers in a pan. (fried in pam)

would love to hear what italian recipes you have as I am about to just make some pasta sort for tonight.....

you can make futtucini with an alfredo sauce..very easy:
2 tbsp oil
2 T flour
1-2 c. milk
1/2 t granulated garlic
1/4 c. grated parmessean cheese
salt and pepper

heat oil in pan,add flour and stir till slightly brown
add milk and keep mixing(take off stove when adding milk, turn off heat,,or to very low)till thick,
add garlic cheese and salt and pepper...toss with fettucini noodles

this is also yummy wth pasta..a pesto sauce:
2 oz fresh basil
4 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp parmessean
2-4 cloves garlic,or garlic powder
2 tbsp pine nuts(optional0
process everything but oil in precoessor, slowly add in oil.VERY YUMMY!

YOU CAN ALSO MAKE PIZZA WITH READY TO MAKE DOUGH AND HAVE EVERYONE ADD THEIR OWN TOPPINGS.
