Do you mean that you can't figure out how they could get through? Or what would the ramifications of a cyber attack be? The latter calls to mind the book 20/20 by Roy Neuberger, which is fiction but possibly hints at the havoc a real cyber attack could wreak.

One example of the sort of serious threat cyber-attacks pose is the potential to take down the power grid. See, for example, this article..
As for *how* cyber attacks work, The Stuxnet worm is a good concrete example.
For an in-depth, non-fiction book on cyber threats, I recommend America, the Vulnerable.
