Hi! Anyone have an android/smartphone they do not need anymore? Mine just frizzed out and I need one for work... I would really love to get an old one as I am not due for an upgrade and to buy one now without the upgrade discount is ridiculously expensive. Can anyone help me out here? Thank you

I don't have one (and I'm not in Brooklyn), but you should post your carrier as not all phones will work on all carriers.

You can get good deals on used or refurbished older models. I know people who have done that when their phones were stolen.

Also most of the US carriers are moving away from the subsidized phone plans. Now they are offering the ability to purchase phones for a certain amount each month. At the end of two years, you own your phone and costs go down. Whether that makes sense depends on how often you upgrade.
