My co-worker invited me over tonight for a lechaim. Her daughter, after four years of being subjected to threats, extortion and coercion, is finally receiving her get. I would love to bring a gift of some sort - this is a major simcha for the family. Any ideas?

Well a bouquet of flowers is always nice. Or, an inexpensive (or expensive- if you can afford it! ) piece or jewelery. A gift certificate to a nail/beauty salon/ hosiery store.... things that will baby this woman, who most definitely deserves to celebrate!

A pair of open handctuffs with the chain broken, framed in a shadow box ? Accompanied by a "Declaration of Independence" on parchment-colored paper?
But, seriously, anything in the way of personal pampering would probably be much appreciated.
