Denim is so neutral, anything goes.
Will you wear sleeveless with a shell?
How professional of a look do you need, jacket?
Are the skirts A line or pencil?
Dark Jean,light Jean?

Any colourful top! I would say go with something with sleeves for a "job" look.

I work at a doctors office front desk setting..
Yes I would, but I dont like the look of a non jewish top thats supposed to be worn sleeveless with a shell I dont like the look, meaning those soft chiffon sleeveless shirt w a shell is yunchy but a cotton top I would do with a shell. But I dont like a tank kinda top ether it's cheapy

It seems like finding a top to go with a denim skirt should be a fairly simple affair.

Why bother with sleeveless tops and shells? Just find some shirt with sleeves of the length you usually wear.

You probably have things in your existing wardrobe, no?

Basically anything goes with denim, even a denim shirt. White tops will look very fresh, maybe matched with colored jewelry. But in general, denim is more casual. I don't know where you work but maybe dress it up with shirts, light cardis, and blouses (not all at the same time).

Yunchy = nerdy ... not fashionable....

"Non jewish" = I refer to tops that are way too cheapy look for is... for example spaghetti straps "on a shell" .. or a ribbed tank top.... come on just get it.... and no I wasnt referring to leas religious looking

Very cute skirts, but based on inches posted, they'd be too short on me.
Try wearing a pretty silk blouse to soften the denim look.
Nordstrom has some pretty ones online, my link isn't working on mobile now.

I wouldn't wear a silk blouse with those skirts, unless you're going for the purposely mismatched, Doc Martens with a delicate dress, look. All of the skirts are extremely casual. You can get away with a white cotton shirt. Otherwise, a cotton knit shirt or a sweater.

you're being fairly defensive and I didn't accuse you of anything.

I really had never heard either of those expressions before. Now that you've described a 'non jewish' top as 'too cheapy' I understand.

Sorry, but since you know what's in and what's "nerdy" I don't know why you're asking here

Also, these skirts would be WAY too short on me and I'm barely 5'0. To each his own
