We'd been using one that came from someone else but it broke (it was really old.) Pharmacy is charging $65 for a new one and says there is zero coverage for it. Does anyone know of a way to get it covered or reimbursed? That's quite an expense I was not counting on right now and we need it ASAP

OK they said I can get it from a DME place but that's another hoop to jump through after going through the doctor, pharmacy, insurance company, etc, all day, and I'm at the end of my patience and already missed a treatment Just venting. I asked if they could just reimburse me for the pharmacy that was ready to deliver it hours ago but in order to find out they'd have to transfer me somewhere else and lose more time to probably not get it paid for anyway. Just venting at this point, now that I have my answer...sigh.

Find out if the doctor has a spare "sample". My kids pediatrician tries to have a sample (new one) to give to a patient when it's not covered and the parents can't afford it. The company gives them several different samples from time to time. I got one recently that way.
