I read in an old Ami magazine of someone who when they go camping brings oatmeal with chia, flax, and brown sugar as a staple food.
Anyone have a tried and true recipe for what proportions to make such a dry mix with or an experienced cook who can recommend?

I like my oatmeal (1/2-3/4 cup) with chopped walnuts, diced Apple, and a tsp of honey. Cover with hot water and add some milk.
