Is it worth the money? Would teenagers enjoy it?

Our entire family, with kids of varying ages, all loved it and had a great time - well worth the cost. And to make it even cheaper, take advantage of this 2-for-1 offer: https://www.nycgo.com/must-see-week

It’s great if you don’t go on a busy day.
If it’s crowded, it’s hard to see everything.

Leave yourself enough time. It’s nice to see all the details.

Good point Jetblack - we went on a weekday and got there when it opened and virtually had the entire place to ourselves for the first hour, which was amazing!

We liked it but felt that the exhibits weren't labeled well enough. The exhibits are very cool but we had a hard time figuring out what sights we were seeing. It's also a bit pricey for something that takes less than 2 hours but that's not uncommon in NYC.
We went on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded.

For our whole family it would cost just under $250! Is it really worth it?

Totally agree. They didn’t give enough info with each exhibit.

If I purchase tickets on the nycmust website do I have to use the tickets right away or I can hold them for a month?

They're only valid during a 2-week period as specified on the site.

No. I found it very overrated, and even somewhat boring. I heard so much positive feedback that I was expecting something absolutely spectacular and was a bit disappointed. My children would not have enjoyed it. I was also disappointed that the only US landmarks were NYC (specifically Times Square), New England, some Washington, DC buildings, and Niagara Falls. I assumed that a US attraction would incorporate the entire country! Officially, the exhibits are interactive; however, I felt it could have been more creative. Instead of having three or four times throughout the exhibition an option to turn the key (given at the start of the visit) to watch the chopper or the dump truck move, they should have varied it a bit more. Am I the only one feeling this way?

Just as a BTW, Gullivers Gate is Jewish owned. One of the founders is from Israel and one of the investors is a heimishe person from BP. Pretty impressive.

There was a recent thread on this which you should be able to find by searching, or perhaps somebody can post the link. I believe it's even more expensive than Gulliver's Gate, and its duration is even shorter.

I don't see that it says someone from bp owns it. The story how it come about is not really what is written there.

Who said anything about the person from BP owning it???? I wrote that he invested in it.
The co-founder is a person from Israel. He and his fellow co-founders started this project on Kickstarter where people got a chance to invest in it. One of the investors was somebody heimish from BP.
