I broke the fast around 3:30. I just couldn't handle the headachy droopy feeling while trying to have a functional day by necessity. Ironically, I feel the same way now - though the protein bar and cup of water in the afternoon made a huge difference right then.

Untrue. I never fast except for Yom Kippur and Tisha B’av

I'm Litvish, yeshivish, and I didn't even think of fasting. Not nursing or pregnant, but I was feeling pretty horrible before the day started, so I didn't bother. And I just asked my friend, and she didn't fast either.
I think Brisk is very maikel on these things, AFAIK. But we're not Brisker.
