How to sell jewelry if I don’t know what it’s worth?

My aunt, whom I love very much, has a tendency to send me jewelry that is very not my style.

* Very heavy (like, hurts my earlobes to wear these earrings)
* Very gem-encrusted (in color combos like red-and-green that don’t match any of my clothes)
* and SO. MANY. HAMSAS (I am Ashkenazi and while I can wear one or two of the more delicate hamsas she’s given me, I have almost a dozen from her! That’s just too much!!)

I have no idea how much these are worth, but they just sit taking up space and I’m thinking of selling them. (My aunt lives across the country and wouldn’t really see my jewelry rotation.)

How do I figure out if they’re super cheap costume jewelry or not?

They don't look like gold. You can check if they're silver by looking for the 925 stamped into them. But silver jewelry isn't worth that much either. Find a way to regift them.

Looks like Michal negrin"s jewelry. Generally under $100 when purchased new.

Check on eBay for comparable items to get an idea of what they are selling for.

I have been selling random things that have been sitting around my house and its been so much fun, and you get a little cash on the side too!

They look like costume jewelry. But you could ask around -- you probably know someone who knows someone in the jewelry business.

Take it to someone that buys gold and silver that people don't need anymore. They have the equipment to test if it's real.

They are very cute if you have girls give it to their classmates as gifts. Girls love these things.
I have three girls Bh and I have lots of jewelry gold, silver and custom and we love them all and my girls love it too. So since my daughters girl friends always admire our jewelry my daughter (14 yr )decided to buy her friends jewelry for birthdays and now my 10 yr old too wants to give her friends jewelry.
So my point is girls love jewelry. If you have no girls then regift them to your baby sitter on holidays etc...
