I see recipes for delicious looking smoothies and shakes in the "shavuos with mehadrin " insert that came with a magazine this week. How do people make these recipes for you tov? (Or do they not?!) doesn't the fluffy mocha peanut butter shake separate and get sad looking?

I have the same question. Last year I made an milchig orange creamsicle shake and froze it before Yom Tov. I took it out of the freezer in the morning and it was nice and slushy by dessert time. But the ones that have a frothy situation would not work.

Unless you have a shaker with a very secure cover and someone willing to shake very hard : )
I've sort of done my yogurt shake on shabbos. Crushed some ice in a towel, dissolved cocoa etc in a bit of hot water, mix very well. Not the same but quite drinkable.
