Garbage disposal in the sink! Best add-on ever. Just be sure to get a good one and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on what you can and can’t put in it.

Uch, I hated the garbage disposal and finally got rid of it. it always smelled. Certain things (like chicken skin) wouldnt get shredded and then it would stink. So many times I would have to stick my hand down there to fish things out. yuck.

I drain the food in the sink and throw the rest in the garbage. Oily liquids I save empty pickle jars and other jars and spill it in the jar close it and put it in the garbage. The oily liquid shouldn’t go in the sink because it clogs it.

Same. I also use apple juice and snapple bottles.

I love crockpot liners and they serve a double function. After shabbos I can gather the top together, close with a twist tie and dump the congealed cholent into the trash can.

Compost everything, including "liquids." (For chicken, or anything fatty, I refrigerate till it solidifies, and then compost. Don't throw that down the drain. It will clog up.)

Otherwise, try to repurpose leftovers and make something else. (Cholent becomes soup. Leftover chicken becomes a stir fry. Leftover challah becomes challah kugel.

In the first place buy/ prepare only enough food so that "extras" won't be forgotten and go bad.
