Girl is living in an Ocean Ave apartment in an apartment house near Avenue I, w mice, and would rather not move but shes getting really annoyed with a mice problem.

The super tried traps and that didnt eliminate them.

The girl then called Glen Berman of Budget Exterminating with an excellent reputation, and paid almost 1,000 but he hasnt eliminated the mice problem either.

What should she do?

Does Glenn offer a guarantee?

(This was not an expense the girl should have paid out of pocket for)

If it's an apartment building, it's very hard to keep out everybody else's vermin. The good news is that if you paid for mouseproofing with a year's guarantee, the exterminator doesn't want to come back and will do everything in his power to try to eliminate the rodents. Poor girl.

We are a very clean family living in a single family home and have had mice problems for over a year! Two companies came down and it's very very hard to eliminate.
It does not reflect on the exterminator, especially in an apartment building. Sometimes they mice population increases so quickly in the walls that they are just so so so so difficult to get rid of.

Great. I hope her problem is under control soon.

Why the negative post against the exterminator?

Exasperation. Its not negative at all. Weve been using ONLY Glen Berman for years and we cant believe that mice-proofing a small apartment would be more challenging than mice-proofing a big apartment.

It's virtually impossible to mouse-proof a single apartment. You have to deal with the entire building.

That said, it should never be the tenant's expense, but the landlords.

Also, there's a guy Dominic who is supposed to be the best.

Buy ultrasonic devices specifically designed for mice. They are cheap, and mice hate them. Buy them from Home Depot or Lowes or a reputable hardware store.

I read reviews years ago and people said theyre a waste of money. You eliminate some of your money.

Don't use the knockoffs. That's why I said to buy them from a reputable hardware store like home depot.

They do work. I have used them and recommended them. The feedback I get from others is the problem goes away. I used traps also with them.

The landlord needs to treat the whole building, not just one apartment.

He needs to CLOSE ENTRY POINTS.

Probably way too expensive because its one of those huge pre-war buildings. Some people get cats.

Have you heard of the segula of r ahara'le of kerestir?
IVe heard of it, but never bh needed it. Take a picture( or print online) a picture if R aharale, and pit it in your kitchen. Some people put it under their cabinets. It apparently scares allmice away

Find all the holes and close them up! Look by the radiaters, behind fridge and dishwAsher, by the walls.... look where they come from and find the hole. Thats the only way.
