Saute a chopped onion and chunks of meat, I like to use chuck. Then I pour over a big can of crushed tomatoes and refill the can 2-3 times with water to dilute the tomatoes. Once it boils I add a bag of shredded cabbage and boil till soft. I add about 2 tbl of brown sugar, a couple of splashes of lemon juice, and salt and pepper to taste.

Very easy, yummy, and freezeable!

Thank you! Do you season the meat with paprika, garlic, etc.? Or is the salt and pepper to taste the only seasoning you do?

Just salt and pepper. I find it to be a very flavorful soup. It is my favorite kind.
