If I buy them on Friday will they be stale tasting already saturday night? I want to serve at malave malkah and I have no intention of standing around over a pot of hot oil making them fresh. If I do buy Friday, what's the best way to store? Fridge? On counter in ziplocs? Freeze and thaw? Thanks.

Yes, sufganiot get stale quickly. Putting them on the hot plate before eating will help with taste.
