Many people wrote we’re having schnitzel. Can you please elaborate as to what kind?

We never eat chicken on the bone so I’m always looking for easy, better if not fried, and not dry or tasteless chicken cutlets ideas.

My current rotation-

Hot poppers
Fake (not fried) hot poppers
Grilled schwarma chicken
Oven fried chicken cubes
Chinese sesame chicken
Chicken Marsala
Marinated schnitzel
Fried panko chicken

What are your go-to easy chicken cutlet recipes?

I marinate the cutlets in lemon juice, olive oil , some frozen crushed garlic and some frozen basil cubes and salt. Let it all melt in the bag and evenly distribute the seasoning .
Grill cutlets on grill pan.

My schnitzel recipe is plain, but gets results!

- Preheat oven to 425, grease cookie sheets with oil
- Acquire chicken thighs, pound with tenderizer till thin
- Season flour with salt, pepper, paprika
- Beat two or three eggs
- Dredge each chicken thigh in flour, then egg, then in seasoned breadcrumbs (if you can find Panko style parve, they turn out crispiest)
- Bake schnitzels for 12 minutes, then flip and bake for 10 more

Very quick, slightly messy, and my kids like to help with both the tenderizing and the eating, so win win!

This post had me scratching my head until I read through!
Schnitzel = breaded chicken cutlets.
Chicken cutlets = chicken cutlets.
Schnitzel IS NOT another word for chicken cutlets. Unless you're Israeli, I think.

My fave recipe- smear duck sauce over chicken cutlets and cover with Frenchies french fried onions. Bake uncovered on 350 till done

I fry my pretzel chicken since the family protested when I baked it. My recipe is:

Mix eggs with honey and Dijon mustard . Dip chicken into egg mixture then into pretzel crumbs (you can buy ready pretzel crumbs or crush your own pretzels). Fry in oil on both sides until golden brown and cooked through .

The pretzel crumbs are very salty, don't add salt to the mixture.

My SIL smears cutlets with white horseradish sauce and coats the cutlets in Frenchs fried onions and bakes it in the oven.

I sometimes smear a mixture of ketchup, mustard, duck sauce, garlic powder and onion powder and then coat the cutlets in plain or flavored cornflake crumbs. Spray with Pam and bake for 30 min.

My go to honey mustard schnitzel

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup mustard
Tablespoon lemon juice
Teaspoon garlic powder

Marínate 1-2 pounds of cut chicken cutlets in it for 30 minutes.

Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray

Bread chicken with flavored bread crumbs

Spray cooking spray on top.

Bake for 20 minutes on 375

I’ve never had a child or adult who doesn’t eat this (except when allergic to mustard)
