I think there is a heter that some people keep that even if they eat chalav yisrael, they will eat powdered milk (which is used in the donuts) I don't think that's a commonly held view though by most people who are makpid to only eat chalav yisrael.

There are NO CY Dunkin Donuts. All the donuts come from the same place - it's a franchise - you can't just make your own donuts at one location. All the dough comes in frozen from the same location. Kind of like the bread at Subway - the bread isn't made on premises, frozen dough is put into the oven.

Just go to Donut Man. You know you want to. Or Yossi's Or Weiss.
If you go to Donut Man pick me up a grilled cheese sandwhich. Fried in butter of course. Oh on whole wheat bread, I'm on a diet!

so nu, if someone could give me a recipe of donuts that TASTE like dunkin' donuts, I'll be real happy. Since I stopped eating chalav akum, and moved to a place with NO dunkin' donuts, I just DREAM of the taste...

No, the 2 locations in Baltimore are not chalav yisrael. They can never be chalav yisrael because all the donut dough comes from the same place. It's a franchise, so one location can't use their own recipe for the donuts.

In Brooklyn there's a location on Ave J, and also 2 on Kings Highway - one on Kings Highway is between E. 14 and 15th.
There might be more locations in Brooklyn, but these are the only ones I know about.
I think there's also one on Ave M, right by the train station.
There's also at least one in Cederhurst.

You can't get OU-D Dunkin Donuts. And frankly, the hashgacha of the dunkin donuts stores here in Brooklyn is not considered "mehadrin" or acceptable by a large portion of the kosher consumers here, even those who are not makpid on chalav yisroel. For instance, my DD's school has indicated to the girls that they may not eat there, and we do not either. The closest one with a "better" hashgacha is in the 5 towns.

A lot of people just use the term OU-d to connote that something's chalav stam, not that the OU actually certified the product. Although, I wouldn't be surprised if the actual Dunkin Donut dough is certified by the OU. I think that the frozen Subway dough is certified by the OU.
Personally, I don't know why people just use the term "chalav stam".
