Excellent example... Joker is another... actually "for the evulz" antagonists are actually the scariest and worst kind because they cannot be stopped... but also the hardest to write correctly....

There are some great graphic novels written for adults out there. Persepolis, for example.

I have no problem with kids or adults enjoying the genre. Just that it should be part of a varied literary diet.
